A Happy Day

     October 28, 2011, was a happy day for me. It was 10:00 P.M. On  friday night in my room. I slept on the bed in my room. Suddenly, I dream get a lot of money. I'm very happy and loudly. A few minutes later my sister  went to my room and asked me “You are OK!”, I said “I'm OK I'm very happy ”  Shortly after, my parents came back at house. They bought the cake and give money for me. I was happy. 

Earthquake

          An earthquake is a sudden shake of the Earth's crust caused by the tectonic plates colliding. The vibrations may vary in magnitude. The underground point of origin of the earthquake is called the "focus". The point directly above the focus on the surface is called the"epicenter". Earthquakes by themselves rarely kill people or wildlife. It is usually the secondary events that they trigger, such as building collapse, fires, tsunamis (seismic sea waves) and volcanoes, that are actually the human disaster. Many of these could possibly be avoided by better construction, safety systems, early warning and evacuation planning.Earthquakes are caused by the discharge of energy accumulated along geologic fault.

           แผ่นดินไหวนั้นเป็นปรากฏการณ์สั่นสะเทือนอย่างฉับพลันของเปลือกโลกที่เกิดจากแผ่นเปลือกโลกชนกัน การสั่นสะเทือนอาจแตกต่างกัน จุดใต้ดินการเกิดแผ่นดินไหวที่เรียกว่า"โฟกัส" จุดเน้นดังกล่าวข้างต้นเหนือจุดโฟกัสบนพื้นผิวที่เป็นที่เรียกว่า"ศูนย์กลาง" การเกิดแผ่นดินไหวแทบจะไม่ฆ่าคนหรือสัตว์ป่า มันมักจะเกิดเหตุการณ์ที่สองตามมา เช่น อาคารพัง ,ไฟไหม้, คลื่นสึนามิ (คลื่นน้ำทะเลที่เกิดจากแผ่นดินไหว) และภูเขาไฟที่เป็นภัยพิบัติของมนุษย์ ทั้งหลายเหล่านี้อาจจะหลีกเลี่ยงได้โดยการก่อสร้างที่ดีกว่าระบบการเตือนภัยและวางแผนอพยพ  แผ่นดินไหวเกิดจากการปลดปล่อยของพลังงานที่สะสมทางธรณีวิทยา
